Here at Toywheel, we don’t just love making games – we also love playing them. In fact, we usually come up with our best ideas when we put down our work and let our minds wander off in search of imaginary new worlds. Today, in order to make our daydreaming a bit more exciting than usual, we thought it’d be cool to hafrve a contest. Not surprisingly, we came up with some pretty weird stuff – Western World turned up in the bathroom, while the ice cream truck from Candy Land was seen whizzing across a birthday cake. And why not? After all, there’re no boundaries when it comes to combining the real world with the virtual world.
We know you guys would enjoy this sort of thing just as much as we do, so we decided to launch a new contest. From now on, each week we want you to dream up new ideas for the coolest places to drive around the virtual cars from Toy Car RC [LINK]. Send a screenshot of your idea to competition@toywheel.com by 01 August 2014 and we’ll pick the most creative one as the winner. And the best part? The winner of each week’s contest gets a free download of our newest app, Toy Drive! With Toy Drive, you get more worlds, more cars and even more limitless fun. How’s that for an offer? So join in the adventure, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Tip: To take a screenshot with your iOS device, press the “Home” and “Power” buttons at the same time. The screen will flash and your screenshot will be saved directly in the Camera Roll. Then, you can send it to us via email (competition@facebook.com) or tweet it @toywheel. We will add the screenshots to our Facebook album, and we’ll choose a winner from your submissions each week!
screenshot blog behind scenes
Here’s a sneak peak behind the scenes of our team competition from earlier today. Even our office robot got in on the action, giving some much-needed pointers. This turned out to be a good thing, because a lot of our screenshots were actually pretty terrible. But no worries, we still had tons of fun! And now we really appreciate the creativity and vision that go into making an awesome photo.
